Subject: PLANET ANOMALY UPDATE: OGLE 99-BLG-005

Dear Colleagues,

Both the most recent PLANET collaboration data and publically available 
OGLE team data suggest that the microlensing event OGLE~99-BLG-005 has 
peaked at JD = 2451275.2 (+/- 0.2) and is now falling. 
The nature of the event is not yet fully understood, but appears to 
be consistent with multiple lens microlensing.

Event:		 OB-99-005	(OGLE 99-BLG-005)
RA  (J2000):	 17:47:24.05 
Dec (J2000):	-34:46:21.5

Baseline I magnitude reported by OGLE team is 18.82.
